Designation : Database Administrator Requirements Job Summary: Support role focused on secure and efficient database access management, incident resolution, and optimization across hybrid environments (On-Prem & Azure).

Collaboration with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams. Emphasis on automation and scripting.

Required Skills

& Tools: Proven experience in enterprise-level database administration User management & access control across MSSQL, PostgreSQL Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure: Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL Familiarity with ARM templates, monitoring, cost optimization, and security best practices Incident & problem management, root cause analysis Performance tuning, query optimization Scripting with Power.

Shell, Bash, Perl, SQL procedures/functions Understanding of NoSQL concepts (MongoDB) Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) Excellent communication and documentation skills Nice-To-Have: Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integration for database deployments Experience with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability setups Knowledge of compliance standards and data governance Responsibilities: User and access management Incident and problem resolution Performance monitoring and optimization Backup and recovery operations Scripting and automation Collaboration with cross-functional teams Documentation and reporting
