Job Title – Fulfilment Clerk (Warehouse Management System) Department: Warehouse & Outbound Logistics Reports To: Dispatch Associate Location: Kiambu County Job Purpose The Fulfilment Clerk is responsible for coordinating all outbound order fulfilment activities within the High. Jump Warehouse Management System (WMS) from order release to loading preparation.
The role ensures customer orders are accurately grouped into vehicle loads, released for picking, monitored throughout the picking process, and prepared for dispatch through proper staging identification and dock allocation. The Fulfilment Clerk acts as the operational control point linking Warehouse Operations, Transport, Dispatch, Inventory, Security and Customer Service to ensure every shipment is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management Monitor and prioritize customer orders in High. Jump WMS;validate order readiness and release orders for fulfilment. Load Planning Create Load IDs, pool multiple orders into vehicle loads, and optimize loads based on route, capacity, and delivery schedule. RF Picking Coordination Release orders to RF guns, monitor picking completion, and resolve picking exceptions (short picks, damages, inventory discrepancies).
Picker Allocation Assign pickers through WMS based on order size, warehouse zones, and workload; monitor picking progress and rebalance tasks as required. Staging Coordination Coordinate staging activities, ensuring all picked pallets are verified, correctly staged, and ready for loading. Pallet Identification Generate and print pallet labels/stickers containing Load ID, customer, vehicle, route, dock number, pallet sequence, and barcode.
Dock & Vehicle Coordination Allocate loading docks and communicate vehicle registration, driver, transporter, dock number, and loading schedule to all operational teams. WMS Transactions Maintain accurate and real-time WMS transactions for load creation, picker assignment, staging, dock allocation, and dispatch readiness.
Exception Management Investigate and resolve fulfilment, staging, labelling, vehicle, and WMS-related exceptions; escalate unresolved issues promptly. Reporting & Communication Prepare daily fulfilment reports and coordinate effectively with Warehouse, Transport, Inventory, Security, Customer Service, and Dispatch teams.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 1 years' experience in warehouse fulfilment or outbound logistics.
- Practical experience using High. Jump WMS or a similar warehouse management system.
- Experience with RF scanning technology.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and dispatch processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/WMS reporting.
