Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously enhance the Service. Now SAM Pro module, including software models, entitlement records, license metrics, publisher packs and software reclamation. Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle, from request, procurement and deployment through optimization, compliance monitoring and retirement. Ensure license compliance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate entitlement data and supporting software vendor audits.
Design, implement and continuously improve SAM processes, workflows and governance standards, including publisher-specific licensing models (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP) where required. Drive data integration, reporting and transparency by connecting discovery, procurement and deployment sources into Service. Now SAM and creating dashboards on compliance, spend, optimization and lifecycle KPIs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 3–5 years of relevant experience in Software Asset Management, Service. Now ITAM or IT Asset Management. Proven hands-on experience with Service. Now SAM Pro, including practical use and optimization of SAM capabilities. Strong understanding of software asset data concepts, including discovery, normalization, usage metering and entitlement management.
Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure, SAM and configuration management principles. Relevant Service. Now certifications, including Service. Now Certified System Administrator, preferably CIS – Software Asset Management and Data Foundation Very good knowledge of English language and ideally good knowledge of German language
