Accounting Manager | Leadership Opportunity | Hybrid

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a trusted, family-owned wholesale distributor serving the low-voltage security industry in Earth City, MO, to find an experienced Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic accounting leader to oversee core financial operations, drive process improvements, and help scale a high-performing finance function while leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain.

Schedule: Full-Time |Hybrid | 3-4 days in office What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reporting Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies Oversee AP and AR, including billing, cash application, and vendor payments Monitor and improve working capital metrics, including DSO, DPO, and cash conversion cycle Serve as the accounting lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, optimizing system usage, workflows, and reporting Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness Drive process improvements & build scalable accounting operations to support company growth Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting, AP, and AR teams Partner cross-functionally with leadership, finance, operations, and IT What We Are Looking For Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Active CPA license 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Experience managing general ledger, financial close, AP and AR functions Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, and internal controls What You Can Expect: Work Environment and Physical Demands Standard office setting with occasional branch visits Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Some travel and occasional evening/weekend work required (<10%) Benefits Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefits SEP Program – 100% of the contribution towards eligible employee retirement Career Advancement, Profit Sharing and Training with exceptional and continued education If you're a collaborative accounting leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization, we'd love to hear from you.
