Urgent requirement for an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
- Contract
- Australia (Adelaide, Perth & Brisbane) Requirements Provide end-user level IT support services at the Customer Offices (Adelaide, Perth & Brisbane). The role focuses on delivering onsite and remote support for end user devices and software, supporting IT activities, and ensuring a high-quality user experience under the supervision of the EUC Lead. Key Technical Skills:
- Desktop and laptop support
- Software installation and configuration
- Remote support tools (e.g., Team. Viewer, Remote Desktop, etc.)
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Active Directory (user account management, permissions)
- Device imaging and deployment tools (desirable)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused approach with a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently under supervision
- Team collaboration and coordination skills, Adaptability in a dynamic IT environment Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and resolve end-user issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide end-user services including troubleshooting, guidance, and technical assistance
- Deliver onsite break/fix support for hardware and software issues
- Coordinate with and escalate hardware-related issues to third-party service providers
- Provide remote support to users as required
- Diagnose and resolve laptop and desktop-related issues
- Deploy and install software on user workstations
- Deliver desk side (in-person) support to end users
- Install, configure, and maintain customer-owned end-user devices and software
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions
- Support IS project activities as assigned by the EUC Lead, Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and security standards Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are desirable Required Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in an EUC, desktop support, or IT support role
- Experience providing onsite and remote technical support
- Hands-on experience with: o Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) o Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications o Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, peripherals)
- Experience with software deployment and endpoint configuration
