What's The Role The primary function of the B2C Sales Manager EC is to develop both short- and long-term strategic vision and goals to generate profitable growth and increase market share for designated functional areas within each channel, aligning sales planning and development for implementation across all the sales channel(s) to achieve KPIs.
The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating, and inspiring them to achieve results. Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm are the key to achieving the goals of this job. The work involves driving toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others.
While the job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people. The job requires a high degree of “selling”, whether of ideas and policies within the organization, or products or services in the marketplace. The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. While there is urgency to goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results needs to be shared and effectively delegated when necessary.
Initiating projects and processes beyond established organization practices will often require training and developing others and enlisting their support by using “selling” rather “telling” communication style. The job has variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing. Because goals and desired results can quickly change, the job requires regularly meeting and pro-actively establishing relationships with new groups-departments.
The ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing organization environment is a critical key to success. In general, the core of this position requires a results-oriented strategic thinker, team builder, organizational developer, and implementer of initiatives.) What You'll Do Developing strategy & plans: Develop strategic vision with overall responsibility for delivering an Omni-channel experience for the brand across channels including digital & online initiatives, Tele sales, social media, mobile and website presenting the ideal but achievable outcome.
Set commercial plans aligned to strategies to achieve assumed results Work closely with the Distribution executive to link with Companies/Institutions with a view to finding new sales opportunities. Work with products team to undertake research to understand consumer and shopper trends, information seeking behavior and usage of new age mediums Exceed Targets Work closely with B2C commercial director to develop on-going sales strategies, tactics and action plans for all sales channels assigne Execute on-going coaching and development amongst teams to improve customer experience and maintain general day to day functions ensuring efficiencies are met.
Leads successful execution of the strategies required to achieve the financial targets. Develop and implement appropriate processes for service resolution utilizing established key performance indicators (KPI’s) Build commercial networking and understanding customer trends. Assure successful leadership to commit sales workforce engagement and performance effectiveness.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of existing products and changing customer needs and works closely with Product Development to tailor products needed for targeted accounts. Implement relationship management guidelines to increase customer and partner retention. Prepare and manage OPEX budget (sales channels operations) in accordance with Department’s policy /guidelines.
Manage and Support Your Team Use a balanced approach to customer, financials, people, and process Proactively train, coach and support the performance of your team to give them the best opportunity to succeed with their career at CWC including succession planning Recognize and manage performance levels within your team appropriately and effectively.
Utilize techniques to empower, motivate and inspire the team to achieve results, make decisions and solve challenges Hold regular team meetings to keep team up to date and generate ideas Implement Reward and recognition activities Create an environment where feedback is encouraged and used for growth and development. Help wider CWC B2C Commercial SLT Support any Channel trials or initiatives Regularly feedback success and challenges to B2C Commercial team Participate in regional and local team meetings and calls when requested Build effective relationships with BMC, CX, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure constant communication exists Observe and share competitor activity with line manager Work with resourcing team to seek, identify, and hire new talent Performs all other duties requested as deemed relevant to the job or the organization and support People Dutch Caribbean EC initiatives Knowledge & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent qualifications.
5 years of experience in a sales management and or customer service role. - +5 years of leadership experience. Knowledge of FLOW’s Sales and Operational processes Knowledge of Telecoms’ products and services Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as other computer applications Proficiency in analyzing statistical data and translating into reports Keen awareness of what good customer experience looks like Strong leadership, influencing and coaching skills Strong 2-way communicator demonstrating empathy and concern for others Strong collaborator and networker able to source the appropriate expertise and support Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
