Job description
We are looking for a creative and skilled Florist to join our team and design beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for flowers, and a customer-oriented mindset. As a Florist, you will manage floral inventory, craft custom arrangements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements, tailored to the customer’s needs, while ensuring artistic balance and harmony. You will guide customers in selecting flowers and offer advice on design, flower care, and seasonality. You will handle flower orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Inventory management is a key part of the role, as you will need to monitor flower stock, ensuring that flowers are fresh and well-cared for. You will also assist with floral decorations for events, weddings, and corporate functions, ensuring they meet customer expectations. In addition, you will suggest and upsell related products, such as vases and gifts, to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Staying informed about seasonal trends and new floral designs will also be essential in this role. Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent design skills, with a keen eye for color, composition, and balance. A strong customer focus is essential, as you will be advising clients on their floral choices.
The role requires physical stamina, as you will be standing for long periods and arranging flowers regularly. The ability to upsell additional floral products is also important, as is an eye for detail to ensure each arrangement meets the highest quality standards. A floral design certification is preferred, though not required.
Experience working in a fast-paced floral shop environment is also beneficial. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is needed for this role.
