POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION DETAILS Job Title: Internal Application Tester & Trainer Functional Unit: Location: Manila Reporting To: Project Manager/ IT Manager State: Philippines Employment Status: Full Time No of Direct Reports: 0 COMPANY PURPOSE: To enrich people’s lives by transforming the built environment POSITION SUMMARY APPLICABLE TO THIS ROLE The Internal Application Tester & Trainer will support the rollout and ongoing use of business applications by conducting functional testing, identifying issues, and delivering practical, user-focused training.
The role focuses on ensuring applications are fit for purpose and that end-users are confident in using the system through structured training and real-time “how-to” support. 9 Respond to user enquiries via calls or other support channels, walking users through step-by-step “how-to” guidance. 11 Capture recurring user questions or issues and feed them back into training materials and system improvements. ACADEMIC & TRADES QUALIFICATIONS APPLICABLE TO THIS ROLE Essential Desirable 2+ years’ experience in application testing, QA, or application support roles.
Diploma or degree in IT, Business, or a related field (desirable, not mandatory). Demonstrated experience providing end-user training or “how-to” support. Familiarity with structured testing methodologies or tools is an advantage. WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS APPLICABLE TO THIS ROLE Essential Desirable Proven experience in application testing and quality assurance.
Strong experience delivering user training or providing application support. Ability to confidently guide users through processes over the phone or in person. Strong ability to learn new software quickly and understand business workflows. Provide adequate supervision for employees depending on the nature of the tasks and associated roles. Ensure work is only allocated to those competent to do complete those works.
