Job Overview Job Title: Deputy Program Manager Location : Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Job Responsibilities The Deputy Program Manager will provide functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.

Managing schedule and implementation of satcom equipment. Managing internal personnel and sub-contractors working on construction/civil works projects. Preparing reports for government customer. Tracking budgetary items directly related to program expenses. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with support personnel and communicate clearly with government leadership.

Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data. Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures. Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong documentation and technical writing abilities.

Proven experience with the equipment covered under the contract. Proficient in utilizing computer-based project management tools.

Minimum Qualifications

A n Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable) Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required . At least five (5) years of management and supervisory experience overseeing Communications System installation and implementation projects.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis. Able to travel to support mission up to 50%.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field is preferred.
