Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst

A leading Irish real estate investment and development firm is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join their growing development finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 trained professional looking to move out of audit into a more commercial, forward-looking role with direct exposure to property development projects.

Working closely with the development team, you will gain hands-on exposure to the financial management of large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting Preparation of monthly management accounts Assist with month-end close processes, including journals and reconciliations Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and audits Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls Liaising with auditors and external advisors Development & Commercial Finance Supporting budgeting and forecasting across development projects Monitoring project spend and cashflow vs budget Assisting with financial modelling and project analysis Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to understand Construction costs, Development timelines, and Project viability Requirements: Recently qualified ACA / ACCA (or up to ~2 years PQE) Background in Big 4 / Top 10 audit Exposure to real estate, property or construction clients highly desirable Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in moving into a commercial finance role Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders A standout opportunity for a Big 4 newly qualified to transition into a commercially focused role within an established market leader.
