Correctional Detail Officer C01 - Transportation

This position is responsible for supervising inmates in the maintenance of city parking structures , METRA  Facility, and all bus routes. Supervises and maintains the safety of inmates and the public. Schedules the cleaning of city public parking garages and city parking lot. Maintains all METRA lawn tools; equipment; and inventories equipment.

Paints poles, gates, and walls; cleans spiders webs from walls and ceilings; washes floors. Collects trash daily from public parking garages and lot. Cuts lawns and maintains the appearance of parking grounds. Maintains trash pickup and weed cutting along t en  bus routes. Performs other  related  job duties as assigned.
