ACG_3722_JOB Our client is a leading fintech company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Lead and oversee all legal affairs of the Company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, proactively identifying and managing legal risks, and providing legal advice to the Board of Management and relevant departments.
Manage contracts and legal documentation by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and standardizing contracts and other legal documents, including bilingual documents, to ensure legal validity and effective risk control. Ensure regulatory compliance across fintech operations, including payment services, KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, data protection, and e-commerce.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and regularly monitor legal and regulatory developments. Provide legal advice on products, transactions, and partnerships, including payment gateways and e-wallet services, while ensuring that product structures and transaction models comply with applicable regulations.
Manage disputes and legal matters, including customer complaints, partner disputes, and regulatory issues, while coordinating with internal departments and external parties where necessary. Develop legal procedures and risk control mechanisms to ensure proper documentation, effective governance, and proactive legal risk mitigation throughout the Company.
Lead and develop the Legal team through effective task allocation, coaching, and performance management. Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and internal guidelines to strengthen regulatory compliance and legal risk control. Manage the department’s resources, including budget, assets, and workforce, in alignment with the Company’s overall strategy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law. At least 5 years of experience in a legal management position or an equivalent role. A minimum of 2 years of experience in fintech, banking, payment intermediary services, or financial services. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, financial, and payment-related laws and regulations.
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as managing and resolving disputes. Strong legal analysis, risk assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Professional proficiency in English, particularly in drafting and reviewing legal documents. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, together with a high level of integrity and accountability.
