Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per project requirements. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during testing. Interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate with project, QA/QC, and site teams. Prepare commissioning reports and test documentation. Support successful project handover to the client.

Required Skills

Electrical Testing – Hands-on testing of electrical equipment and systems. Commissioning – Experience with commissioning procedures. Switchgear Knowledge – Testing and troubleshooting LV/MV systems. Electrical Drawings – Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams. Safety Standards – Knowledge of electrical safety and commissioning protocols.

Preferred Skills

Experience with industrial or commercial electrical projects. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. GCC project experience. Work Experience Requirements Relevant experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems is preferred. Typical experience range for this role is 3–7 years in electrical construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Education
