Job description

Brandeis’ Center for Spiritual Life offers a safe space for students to explore their spirituality and find their place in the world, on their terms. Whether students are rooted in a particular faith tradition or searching for answers to fundamental human questions, we are here. We have staff chaplains trained in different faith traditions who help students find a supportive community, access a non-judgmental spiritual mentor, and find opportunities to serve others.

What makes Brandeis a distinctive opportunity for hands-on learning? Brandeis’ religious landscape is like no other university in the U.S. A plurality of students are Jewish, and there are active Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, and Protestant faith communities as well. The Center for Spiritual Life comprises an interfaith team of part- and full-time chaplains who support religious and non-religious students alike, and is a part of the Division of Student Affairs.

What types of opportunities are possible as part of an internship at Brandeis? There is flexibility to shape an internship around student interests.
