Agency: Omnicom Media Job Function: Media Job Subfunction: Performance Media Job Description: About the Role As Head of Go-to-Market & Growth for GEO, you will lead new business development and organic growth initiatives for Omnicom Media's GEO and SEO solutions. You'll drive enterprise client acquisition and expansion opportunities through strategic partnerships with internal and external partners, develop go-to-market strategies for our products, solutions and vertical-specific offerings, and establish thought leadership that positions GEO as an essential capability for brands navigating AI-powered search.
This is both a strategic and relationship-driven role, requiring the ability to translate AI search innovation into compelling client value propositions, lead high-stakes pitches at the C-suite level, and evangelize GEO across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Leadership Represent GEO & SEO capabilities in agency of record (AOR) pitches in partnership with Omnicom Media's Growth team Develop winning GEO positioning, capabilities, and case studies to differentiate our agency in competitive pitches Build and maintain executive relationships with key decision makers, leveraging C-suite presentation skills to influence new business outcomes Work with internal and external partners to identify, pursue, and close GEO & SEO opportunities Organic Growth Identify and lead organic growth opportunities to pitch GEO and/or SEO services to existing Omnicom Media clients where these capabilities are not yet in scope Develop targeted outreach strategies and value propositions tailored to client verticals and business challenges Lead account expansion discussions and pitches to drive revenue growth within existing client relationships Coordinate with agency teams to ensure successful service onboarding and delivery of expanded GEO/SEO capabilities Go-to-Market Strategy & Verticalized Solutions Development Develop comprehensive GTM strategies for Omnicom Media’s GEO & SEO solutions Develop comprehensive GTM strategies for vertical-specific GEO and SEO solutions (e.
g., GEO for Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, etc.) Lead the design and launch of new service offerings, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and marketing strategies Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify high-potential verticals and differentiation opportunities Create playbooks and sales enablement resources for internal teams to support vertical GTM execution Thought Leadership & POVs Develop and publish thought leadership content, points-of-view (POVs), and industry insights on GEO, SEO, and AI-powered search trends Create internal POVs to align agency perspective and guide client and prospect conversations Contribute to speaking opportunities, industry events, webinars, and published articles to build awareness of our capabilities and establish Omnicom Media as an expert in AI Search Team Leadership & Collaboration Build, mentor, and lead a GTM and growth team, enabling skill development and accountability for business development outcomes Collaborate closely with the Growth team, GEO & SEO leadership, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on new business strategy and client success Create scalable processes and playbooks for new business development and account expansion activities Qualifications 10-15+ years of relevant experience in new business development, go-to-market strategy, or commercial leadership, with a track record of success across disciplines such as agency new business, SaaS GTM, advertising sales, management consulting, or related fields Proven expertise in leading new business initiatives, account expansion, and/or new product launches that resulted in significant revenue growth Strong understanding of SEO, organic search, and emerging trends in AI-powered search (GEO); hands-on SEO or digital marketing experience is a plus Executive presence with demonstrated experience influencing and presenting to C-suite and senior stakeholder audiences Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and persuasion skills; comfortable thriving in pitch rooms and high-stakes client conversations Proven ability to develop and articulate compelling POVs, positioning, and value propositions for complex solutions Strategic thinker with the ability to design go-to-market strategies, identify market opportunities, and drive organizational priorities Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; experience building and mentoring small, high-performing teams Ad hoc travel flexibility required across the US market Recognized thought leadership or industry visibility in related fields is a plus #LI-NR1#OMD
United States: $180,000.00-$200,000.00 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
