About the Role

Mc. Kesson is seeking a skilled Maintenance Facilities Service Representative to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facility. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, complete repairs, and respond to facility service requests. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience maintaining commercial or industrial facilities and can independently resolve a variety of building maintenance issues while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

What You'll Do

(Responsibilities) Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues such as lighting, plumbing leaks, doors, fixtures, and equipment malfunctions. Complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Perform general building repairs including painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, and minor mechanical work. Support office and facility operations through furniture moves, workspace reconfigurations, and meeting room setup. Maintain maintenance records, inventory levels, and documentation related to repairs and inspections.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance activities and projects. Participate in emergency response activities and support facility readiness efforts. Basic Requirements Typically requires 3+ years of related experience Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical documents, manuals, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

& Experience Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, facilities maintenance, or a related field. Experience working in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, healthcare, or commercial facility environment. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), or work order management software.

Experience working with outside contractors and service vendors. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and facility safety practices.. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, and reaching throughout the workday. This is an onsite position requiring regular movement throughout the facility and interaction with building systems and equipment.

Work may be performed in warehouse, office, mechanical, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and conditions. We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at Mc. The pay range shown below is aligned with Mc. Kesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
