Role: Accounts Associate Location: Bengaluru (On-site), Mon
- Sat working (10am - 7pm) Department: Finance & Operations Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist in compliance and reporting. The role will work closely with the Finance and Strategy Manager to keep books clean, payments on track, and controls tight.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Bookkeeping Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries Maintain accurate ledgers in accounting software such as Zoho Books or Tally Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances Payments and Receivables Process vendor payments and track due dates Follow up on receivables and ensure timely collections Maintain post-dated cheque and payment schedules GST and Compliance Support Assist in GST filings, invoice matching, and documentation Maintain proper records for audits and statutory requirements Reporting and Support Prepare basic MIS reports such as expenses, cash flow, and outstanding balances Support month-end closing activities Coordinate with CA and consultants when required Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance One to three years of experience in accounting or finance operations Working knowledge of GST and basic compliance Experience with accounting tools like Zoho Books or Tally preferred Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience in D2C, e-commerce, or startup environment Familiarity with inventory accounting and vendor reconciliation Benefits Hands-on exposure to a fast-growing consumer brand Ownership of real financial operations Learning across finance, compliance, and business decision-making
