Job description
Job Description: To plan, implement and organize the Hospital’s facilities repair maintenance works and monitoring the progress and ensuring the vendors/contractors work in accordance with the schedules at all times. To carry out regular routine inspections with vendors/contractors on all the facilities / plant room and to recommend any quality improvement works necessary for the efficiency of the facility.
To prepare and correspond to the new / renewal of Facility Management Maintenance / Service Agreement. To schedule and coordinate all PPM and repair maintenance works for utilities / electrical system with outsource contractor and verify the work carried out are compliance to regulation and Hospital Standard Procedures (SOP).
To liaise with Energy Commission, DOSH, Bomba, MOH and other regulatory bodies on any matter of government regulation and licensing. To coordinate with internal customer’s / end users prior to carrying out the necessary planning works to facilitate the facilities / systems in accordance with schedule. To monitor the Hospital Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documentation for all procedures in the Facility Management.
To prepare the Environmental Services Department budget; by monitoring budget accounts and expenditures. To schedule, analyze and investigate issues / problems related to the staff of Environmental Services Department and prepare and compile written reports with solutions / recommendations, to the Facilities Management Manager.
To plan and implement scheduled routine inspection, planed preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance are carried out on the time specified. To prepare and submit weekly, monthly, departmental work performance and other special reports or written assignments as equipment in the hospital. To monitor and ensure the hospital utilities are maintained and operated in the most efficient and economic manner.
To prepare worker accident reports; identifying and resolving safety hazards for staff; arranging for employee safety training and maintaining safety records.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Civil Engineering or Higher Diploma in related areas Knowledge and Experiences: Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in service industry, preferably in healthcare facility environment Familiar with local laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to the building and safety practices.
