Job description

Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians are pivotal in delivering exceptional care to our patients. In this role, you will maintain detailed records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pet’s care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who excel in multi-tasking and want to utilize their skillset and license.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Full-time benefits and compensation:

  • Compensation: $28-$32/hour, based on experience and skillset
  • Bonus package: $2000
  • CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Minimum qualifications

  • 3+ years of veterinary technician experience

  • Active and good-standing **Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California

  • Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Anesthesia Monitoring

  • Cystocentesis

  • Phlebotomy

  • IVC Placement

  • Radiology (positioning and technique)
