Certified Exceptional Abilities Instructor Needed! We are seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping students reach their fullest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

In this role, you will design and deliver individualized instruction that meets the unique strengths and challenges of each learner. You’ll collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that promote measurable growth and independence. By fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment, you will empower students to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and thrive in their learning journey.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement. Prior experience working with students who have diverse learning needs is preferred.
