Job description
Bevatel is hiring a Test Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead our QA team. We need someone who can balance hands-on testing (Web, Mobile, Automation) with strategic planning and team mentorship. As a key player in our development cycle, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards while coaching the next generation of testers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with other team members.
- Execute all levels of testing. (System, Integration, Regression, Automated)
- Review business requirements and provide inputs.
- Prepare and review test plans.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Execute tests. (manual)
- Test Web services, APIs and Mobile Applications. (iOS&Android)
- Report defects and assist in their understanding.
- Write Bug Reporting & Test Cases.
- Prepare and present test reports.
- Coach, share knowledge, and monitor junior test engineers to support their professional growth and ensure quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Lead QA initiatives and influence team practices.
- Articulate complex testing concepts.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
Requirements
5+ years in Software QA, with a strong background in both Manual and Automation testing. Expert in testing Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs. Solid experience in designing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Strategies. Proven ability to write and maintain automated test scripts. Experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading QA initiatives.
Strong ability to analyze user stories and business requirements for validity. Excellent ability to articulate complex concepts and report defects clearly. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
