Job Title: Accounts Clerk Department: Accounts Reports To: Group Financial Controller / Other Managers as designated About the Opportunity Bridgeline Talent is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented Accounts/Data Entry Clerk. This role supports the day-to-day accounting operations within a dynamic wholesale/retail environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll processing, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. Our client is seeking a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties Accurately process and enter invoices, bills, and payments into the accounting system Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in accounting records Reconcile accounts receivable and prepare customer statements Reconcile accounts payable and prepare payments for approval Assist with intercompany account reconciliations Meet regularly with the Accountant to review assigned responsibilities Inventory & Administrative Responsibilities Verify daily cash sales and receipts and ensure accurate bank deposits Perform relief cashier duties when needed Support general administrative and filing functions to ensure accurate record-keeping Compliance & Reporting Adhere to the client’s accounting policies and internal controls Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information Report discrepancies or irregularities to the Accountant promptly Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required Training or certification in Accounting or Bookkeeping would be an asset Experience Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility Experience within a wholesale or retail environment is considered an asset Technical & Professional Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) High level of numerical accuracy and analytical ability Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Work Environment & Schedule Office-based role within a wholesale or retail operation Standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs Benefits
