SharePoint Admin IT Consultant Vacancy: 1 Work Arrangement: Onsite Location: Washington, DC 20002 Employment Type: Contract Engagement Type: W2 or 1099 only; no C2C Final Interview: In person 11–15 years of experience. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management. Plans, organizes, and implements projects in support of the client’s growing information demands.
Dhaka Technologies Limited is hiring for a client seeking a SharePoint Systems Administrator. This position will perform administrative support and management of SharePoint sites, including internal collaboration and publishing sites, government agency intranet sites, related collaborative/social technologies, and interfaces with external applications.
The Administrator will work with all agency site owners to develop and support site design, governance, and advanced functionality. Additional Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SharePoint site collections.
- Gather requirements from the business, including content inventory, business process flows, and other details affecting the management and organization of information.
- Develop and maintain custom site designs with SharePoint Designer and Info. Path.
- Create and maintain site collection libraries, lists, custom forms, and web parts, and develop custom workflows.
- Create and maintain lists, document libraries, and custom content types.
- Manage permissions, enterprise content, security, and governance.
- Demonstrate technology to business units and update and direct users to training materials and SharePoint resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a computing systems environment, with demonstrated ability to manage diverse technologies.
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 and related technologies.
- Experience with Metalogix Control. Point and Content Matrix is a plus.
- Advanced skills in the creation and maintenance of system documentation and change management and problem management practices.
- Knowledge of .NET, Power. Shell, HTML, XML, C#, CSS, JavaScript, and supporting libraries such as j. Query, or similar programming technologies, and the ability to provide supporting solutions using these technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, teams, and work efforts, including those involving non-IT participants.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and human relations skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong and decisive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Some local travel may occur to other site locations.
Responsibilities
Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management. Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities. Develops technical applications to support users. Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
Provides training for system products and procedures. Performs application upgrades. Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications. Troubleshoots problems. Ensures the project lifecycle is in compliance with established standards and procedures.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
