Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Malta, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, mentor junior team members, and develop your expertise within a dynamic environment. This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €45K , depending on experience.
Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered. Role & Responsibilities Complete management accounts for your own clients and manage annual audit processes Prepare and submit VAT returns for your client portfolio Ensure all tasks within your team are completed on time and in line with statutory requirements Review financial statements and VAT returns prepared by other team members Support ongoing monitoring and compliance activities Mentor junior team members and help with technical accounting questions Organise regular catch-up meetings with your team to monitor progress Identify training needs and help prepare or deliver training sessions Liaise with internal departments to get information for financial statements Attend client meetings and support junior members during their meetings Education, Skills & Experience Fully qualified by a recognised accountancy qualification Minimum 2 years of experience in a client accounting environment Strong knowledge of client accounting and VAT Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SAGE Excellent command of English, both written and spoken Ability to work independently and within a team Strong problem-solving skills and highly organised Able to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments Social and happy to work in a dynamic environment Team-oriented with a keen eye for detail Responsible and ethical when handling sensitive financial information About the Role Salary of up to €45K depending on experience Hybrid role with flexible hours – Fridays the office closes at 14:00 On-the-job training Free parking Health insurance Opportunities to attend industry events Study leave and career growth opportunities Please apply with your detailed CV in English.
