Electrical Field Technician – Renewable Energy

We are seeking skilled and motivated Electrical Field Technicians to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of renewable energy systems. This role involves hands-on field work, outdoor environments, and strict adherence to safety standards. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to project sites and performing physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities

● Install, troubleshoot, and maintain renewable energy systems, including inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and transformers. ● Perform pre-commissioning, cold commissioning, and hot commissioning tasks. ● Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure proper system functionality. ● Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and schematics (or willingness to learn).

● Lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (50+ lbs) as part of daily field activities. ● Work safely in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. ● Follow all HSE policies and OSHA safety standards at all times. ● Travel to multiple job sites as required. Required Qualifications ● High School Diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED ● Electrical Engineering degree OR Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) – REQUIRED ● Minimum 1+ year of experience in the renewable energy sector or related industry – REQUIRED ● Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs – REQUIRED ● Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions – REQUIRED ● Willingness to travel for projects – REQUIRED Preferred Qualifications ● OSHA10 certification ● NFPA70E certification Compensation & Benefits : Travel expenses covered (hotel, airfare, rental car, PPE) ● Health, dental, and vision insurance ● Company-provided safety certifications (OSHA10, NFPA70E) ● Opportunities for career growth and advancement
