VP-CST Community Behavioral Health Specialist

Under the VP-CST (Violence Prevention – Community Support Team) model, the Community Behavioral Health Specialist provides office, community, and school-based behavioral health services to individuals at high risk of involvement in community violence. This position ensures fidelity to the VP-CST model, including maintaining a maximum 18:1 participant-to-staff ratio.

The Specialist uses a multi-disciplinary, trauma-informed approach to deliver comprehensive assessments, case management, counseling, advocacy, and linkage to resources, while collaborating closely with outreach teams, community stakeholders, and partner agencies to address individual and community needs.
