Cannabis Enhanced Due Diligence Officer

The Cannabis Enhanced Due Diligence Officer is responsible for reviewing all cannabis account files annually on the books of Alterna. They will follow a detailed analysis for all existing cannabis accounts for eligibility in meeting our banking requirements and risk management. If the business meets the requirements the Cannabis Enhanced Due Diligence Officer will review the cannabis account and ensure the account is current with all documentation and meets the compliance requirements.

While the review is completed, there may be the need to liase with the branch who owns the relationship. When required the Cannabis Enhanced Due Diligence Officer will need to assist with the onboarding process.
