Audit & Accounts Trainee Location: Peterborough (Hybrid after initial training) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing accountancy practice, is seeking an enthusiastic Audit & Accounts Trainee to join their Peterborough team. Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning and executing external audits across a varied client portfolio. Support preparation of statutory financial statements in line with UK GAAP and company law Perform audit testing procedures and document findings to inform audit opinions Undertake bookkeeping and basic financial analysis under guidance Collaborate with senior colleagues on client queries and project work Develop proficiency in accounting software and internal systems Maintain high standards of accuracy, adhering to firm processes and quality controls Candidate Profile Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent) with 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A*-C (inc.
