Lead Prosthodontist Location: Implant Dentistry Associates of Edwardsville, P.C., d/b/a Clear. Choice Dental Implant Center, 8 Sunset Hills Professional Center, Edwardsville, IL 62025, United States Full-Time Description Job Requirements Clear. Choice National Panel of Doctors meets regularly to share experiences, discuss developments, and coordinate research around dental implant procedures and protocols.

This national affiliation also allows patients to receive follow-up care in any Clear. Choice facility across the U.S. Job Description Perform all phases of prosthetic dentistry and related dental implant services to the appropriate standards as set forth by the practice. Duties include: Serving as a prosthodontist specialist, performing all phases of prosthetic dentistry and related dental implant services.

Examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums. Diagnosing the need for implants and the risks of success and failure in individual patients and procedures. Educating prospective patients on their diagnosis of partial edentulism and the methods of restorations that are available for their care, particularly the integration of implants.

Employing surgical skills related to placement of dental implants and managing patients with recent implant surgery. Placing dental implants, fitting dental appliances, and engaging in pain management related to dental implant surgery. Working closely with in-house laboratory and contracted laboratory to direct and review surgical and final dental prostheses.

Managing pain and infection in patients preceding and following implant surgery. Supervising and directing dental assistants and dental technicians in their prescribed duties. Number and titles of employees supervised 5: Dental Assistants (4) & Lab technician (1) Job Requirements Professional Degree: DDS, DMD, MS in Dentistry, or foreign equivalent Current license to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA accredited program Salary Competitive salary range starting at $312,000 (DOE) and a monthly profit-sharing bonus.
