Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Self Driving

We are seeking a highly skilled Experts, Seniors, Engineers to join our self-driving team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced algorithms that enable autonomous vehicles to accurately sense, interpret, and interact with the world around them. You will work on cutting-edge challenges in 3D object and occupancy detection, tracking, sensor fusion, scene understanding, and foundation models for self-driving, with direct impact on the safety and performance of our autonomous systems.

This is an opportunity to contribute at the intersection of deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and system engineering, while collaborating with a world-class team of researchers and engineers. Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, multi-threaded applications using Modern C++ (C++11 and newer) Leverage the POSIX API for threading, memory management, and system resource management in a resource-constrained environment.

Develop and maintain system-level software, services, and libraries for embedded Linux and QNX platforms. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Profile, debug, and optimize software to meet stringent performance, concurrency, and real-time latency requirements.

Develop and maintain robust build environments using tools like CMake and cross-compilation toolchains. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate actively in peer code reviews. Create and maintain technical documentation for the software you develop. Drive engineering excellence by writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code Requirements MSc/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience Proven professional experience in software development using C++.

Strong proficiency in Modern C++ (C++11 or newer), including features like smart pointers, move semantics, lambdas, and the Standard Template Library (STL). Extensive hands-on experience with the POSIX API and developing applications for POSIX-compliant systems like Linux. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization primitives (e.

g., mutexes, semaphores, condition variables). Direct experience with a real-time operating system (RTOS), with a strong preference for QNX. Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, computer architecture, and networking protocols. Experience with cross-compilation toolchains.
