Job description
The Shipping Manager is responsible for leading all outbound shipping and order fulfillment operations to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, shipped on time, and delivered in full. This role provides leadership for warehouse supervisors and warehouse personnel while driving operational excellence, customer service performance, labor productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.
The Shipping Manager partners closely with Customer Service, Transportation, Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution leadership to ensure shipping priorities are executed efficiently, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded. The position is accountable for shipping performance, workforce planning, employee development, shipping compliance, and departmental KPI achievement.
