Responsibilities
Design and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned Literature in English lessons that promote critical reading and analytical writing. Assess student performance through diverse methods and provide timely, constructive feedback to support growth. Facilitate classroom discussions, creative writing exercises, and literary analysis activities to deepen understanding.
Develop comprehensive lesson plans, reading lists, and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that values diverse perspectives and voices. Participate actively in school meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular literary programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, English Education, or a closely related field. 0–2 years of teaching experience, including internship, teaching practice, or NYSC. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Demonstrated passion for literature and a commitment to fostering student engagement and academic success. Requirements
