Posting Title: Chemistry Teacher New Academic Year - [IELTS Score 6.5 Arab National / Western National / Native Speakers Only] Industry: Education Salary: AED 13,000 to AED 14,000 Work Experience: 4–5 years Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Chemistry Teacher for new Academic year to join our international level top high end school with Multiple campuses in UAE.

This role is ideal for an experienced educator with a strong academic background in Chemistry and a proven track record in delivering high-quality instruction across international curricula such as IGCSE, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate (IB). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster critical thinking, scientific literacy, and a deep understanding of chemical principles.

With a mandatory active IELTS score of 6.5, this position is open exclusively to Arab National, Western National, and native English speakers who demonstrate excellence in classroom management, pedagogical innovation, and the integration of ICT in teaching. The Chemistry Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic success and personal development of students, contributing to a vibrant, student-centered learning environment that aligns with global education standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver comprehensive, curriculum-aligned Chemistry lessons for IGCSE, A-Levels, and IB programs. Design and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry. Utilize ICT tools and digital platforms to enhance instruction, assess student progress, and facilitate interactive learning experiences.

Maintain accurate records of student performance, provide timely and constructive feedback, and support individualized learning plans. Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment through effective classroom management strategies. Collaborate with colleagues in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives.

Prepare students for external examinations by aligning teaching with assessment objectives and exam standards. Participate in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in science education and pedagogy. Contribute to extracurricular science activities, science fairs, and STEM initiatives as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field; PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory. Minimum of 4–5 years of teaching experience in Chemistry within IGCSE, A-Levels, or IB programs. Valid and active IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (mandatory for all applicants). Proven expertise in classroom management and student engagement strategies.

Strong proficiency in integrating ICT into lesson delivery and assessment. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Eligibility to work in the UAE as an Arab National, Western National, or native English speaker.
