CNC Machine Operator - UAV Components Manufacturing

Position: CNC Machine Operator

• UAV Components Manufacturing Department: Structural Fabrication Location: IIT KANPUR/ GREATER NOIDA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to produce precision components for our advanced UAV systems. You will operate multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines and turning centres
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and CNC programs
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine calibration
• Conduct first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
• Document production data and maintain quality records Requirements Required Qualifications
• High school diploma plus technical training in CNC operations
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/defence preferred)
• Proficiency with Fashanu, Has, or similar CNC controls
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software
• Experience machining aluminium, steel, and exotic alloys
• Strong mathematical and blueprint reading skills Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree in manufacturing or machining technology
• Experience with 4th and 5th axis machining operations
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Master cam, Solid. Works CAM)
• AS9100 or aerospace quality system experience Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 annually based on experience + benefits
