Summary: The Project and Resource Mobilization Assistant plays a vital role in advancing WOSAG’s mission by supporting the timely and effective implementation of projects and resource mobilization initiatives. This entry-level position is designed for early-career professionals with 0–2 years of experience who are passionate about gender equality, women’s rights, and community development.

The Assistant provides essential administrative, technical, and coordination support to strengthen proposal development, donor engagement, and reporting processes. By contributing to funding applications, maintaining donor databases, and preparing impact documentation, the role enhances WOSAG’s capacity to secure funding and expand its programs.

This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven organization and serves as a strategic stepping stone for a career in nonprofit development and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential donors, grants, funding opportunities, and partnership prospects aligned with WOSAG’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing funding proposals, concept notes, grant applications, expressions of interest, and other resource mobilization documents.
  • Maintain and update a centralized database of donors, partners, funding opportunities, and proposal submissions.
  • Collect and organize project data, success stories, case studies, and impact evidence for donor reports and fundraising materials.
  • Support the creation of project progress reports, presentations, briefs, and communication materials.
  • Track proposal deadlines, donor reporting schedules, and project milestones to ensure timely submissions.
  • Contribute to donor and partner engagement efforts, including outreach and relationship-building with government bodies, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, donor engagement activities, and visibility initiatives.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, action plans, and follow-up reports for internal and external meetings.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support WOSAG’s projects and resource mobilization work.
