Job Title: General Manager

  • HR Strategy Location: Gurgaon, India Position Overview: The General Manager
  • HR Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our HR strategies to align with the company’s overall objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of data analytics, stakeholder management, and new channel development to optimize our HR functions. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills and demonstrate strong capabilities in presentation and performance improvement planning (PIP).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s business goals and enhance organizational performance. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives. Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to assess HR metrics, identify trends, and drive decision-making processes.

Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators related to HR functions. Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their HR needs and provide strategic support. Build strong relationships with senior leadership to influence HR strategy and facilitate organizational change.

New Channel Development: Identify and explore new channels for talent acquisition and development to enhance the company’s workforce. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted recruitment strategies. Performance Improvement Planning (PIP): Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems to drive employee engagement and development.

Oversee the PIP process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee growth. Advanced Excel and Reporting: Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze complex data sets and create comprehensive reports for HR metrics and presentations. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 15 years of experience in HR strategy, data analytics, or related fields, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. Proven expertise in stakeholder management and collaboration across multiple levels of the organization.

Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Experience with performance improvement planning and managing employee performance metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
