We are currently seeking a Head of Operations to join our fast-growing leadership team. The HOO will be responsible for overseeing Trumia’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient execution of business strategies, and driving performance across all departments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven experience in scaling operations within the financial services or fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that align with Trumia’s vision and objectives. ● Set comprehensive goals for performance, growth, and operational excellence. ● Establish policies that promote company culture, compliance, and long-term sustainability. ● Oversee daily operations and performance of all departments, including IT, Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Compliance. ● Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and their teams to achieve organizational goals. ● Evaluate business performance by analyzing data, KPIs, and operational metrics, providing strategic insights to the CEO and Board. ● Prepare and submit operational reports to the CEO on key matters of importance. ● Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on business expansion activities such as investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. ● Manage and strengthen relationships with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders. ● Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and risk management requirements within the financial services framework.
**Requirements: ** ● Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in operations management, including at least 3–5 years in a senior role within fintech, banking, or financial services. ● Proven track record in operational excellence, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination. ● Solid understanding of financial operations, regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and risk controls. ● Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail. ● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management ,or a related field; a master’s degree is considered an asset. ● Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly regulated financial environment.
