Job description
The Family Care Specialist is Responsible for representing One. Legacy to the potential donor’s Authorizing Party and family. Works in collaboration with the hospital treatment team to develop a timely and sensitive approach plan. The Family Care Specialist approaches the Authorizing Party and family for organ, eye, and tissue authorization, providing support and information while maintaining a position of dual advocacy to donor family and hospital staff.
Acts as a liaison between hospital staff and One. Legacy.
