Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Monitor to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This position is essential in creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

• Supervise children during play, meals, rest periods, and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Support children with daily routines, including hygiene, dressing, and mealtime assistance.
• Monitor children’s behavior and development, reporting concerns or milestones to supervising staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Foster positive interactions among children, promoting cooperation, empathy, and social skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding child progress and daily activities.
• Collaborate with lead staff to support special events, field trips, and program initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in early childhood education is a plus. - 1–3 years of experience in child care, early education, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in fast-paced environments.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for job duties).
• Background check clearance and compliance with child protection regulations.
