Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer (NPI) will lead the end-to-end supplier quality strategy, risk management, and governance across all NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT). This role owns the execution of the Quality Critical Component List (QCCL) and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes to ensure 100% component readiness before manufacturing builds.

Serving as a cross-functional subject matter expert, the ideal candidate will drive proactive risk mitigation (such as PFMEAs and control plans), lead root-cause analysis for technical issues, and ensure strict supplier compliance with organizational, safety, and confidentiality standards Requirements A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) combined with 6 to 8+ years of progressive experience in Supplier, NPI, or Manufacturing Quality.

Experience in high-reliability industries (semiconductor equipment, medical devices, aerospace) and certifications like Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or ASQ CQE are highly preferred. Strong mastery of supplier quality and NPI risk management, with hands-on working knowledge of core quality tools including PFMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, FAI, and ISO 9001 frameworks.
