We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial stewardship of a $1B infrastructure and technology budget across our global enterprise.
This role will partner with senior technology leaders to optimize our investment in fixed assets, data centers, cloud technologies, workforce/labor models, and critical third-party vendors. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technology finance, Fin. Ops, infrastructure cost optimization, and vendor/contract management within a complex, regulated environment.
This role is pivotal in driving financial discipline, transparency, and operational efficiency. This role is located in Pittsburgh. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Provide financial leadership for a $1B+ infrastructure portfolio covering data centers, networks, hardware, software, cloud compute & storage, and enterprise platforms.
Lead quarterly and annual budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and investment prioritization Partner with infrastructure leadership to build and oversee a Fin. Ops practice to optimize cloud spending (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Implement cloud cost visibility, chargeback/showback, governance policies, and consumption forecasting Oversee the full lifecycle of capital assets, including acquisition, depreciation, allocation, and retirement.
Ensure accurate asset accounting, capitalization policies, and compliance with financial and regulatory standard Partner with engineering leadership to manage major technology vendor spend including hardware, software, cloud, and managed services Manage financial planning for a global workforce including engineers, operations, support, contractors, and managed services.
Drive labor optimization initiatives, including location strategy, staffing models, and productivity metrics. Collaborate with HR and operations leaders on workforce planning, cost controls, and efficiency measures. Produce accurate monthly/quarterly reporting, including financial performance dashboards and cost transparency artifacts.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or the equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or CFA preferred. 12–15 years of total work experience with 3–5 years of management experience preferred. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
