Description: We are looking for an ambitious Social Strategy Director to join our team as a key strategic and creative partner for both clients and internal teams.

In this role, you are a champion for the power of social in the wider brand ecosystem: you inspire our teams and clients with what’s possible when culture‑led ideas meet platform‑native execution. You are also a builder at heart, energized by the opportunity to scale our social and content offering, shape our capabilities, and codify how Mc.

Cann Content Studios shows up in this rapidly evolving space. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: ● Lead social and content strategy across multiple major accounts, defining the role of social within the broader brand and comms architecture, beyond the channel plan. ● Translate brand platforms and campaign ideas into platform‑native concepts, formats, and content ecosystems across Tik.

Tok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging spaces (Threads, Blue. Sky, Tik. Tok Shop). ● Write inspiring, single‑minded creative briefs that give designers, creative teams, and creators clear strategic direction and genuine creative permission. ● Oversee social listening programs to surface cultural signals, audience insights, and trending conversations that can unlock campaign platforms and reactive moments.

● Build measurement frameworks and KPIs that connect social performance to brand and business objectives and present those findings clearly to senior and C‑suite clients. ● Partner with client leadership to embed social thinking into integrated campaigns, brand roadmaps, and long‑term platform strategies. ● Bring your passion for digital and social marketing to the wider agency through POVs, thought‑starters, training, and frameworks that elevate our collective social craft.

Qualifications

● 8+ years in social and digital strategy, with a heavy emphasis on client‑facing, agency roles and experience across multiple brand categories. ● A proven track record of developing innovative social campaigns that generated cultural impact. Confidential

  • Not for Public Consumption or Distribution ● Deep fluency in platform mechanics, content performance, and audience behavior, paired with the strategic ability to know when and why to break the playbook. ● The ability to write persuasive, story‑driven strategy decks and present creative recommendations with confidence to senior stakeholders. ● Strong social analytics chops (Meta tools, Google Analytics, native platform data) and an instinct for turning data into sharp, human‑centric insights. ● Relentless curiosity about people, culture, technology, and brands The Truth… Working with Mc. $140-$150k Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
