We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional product team and play a key role in defining quality standards, building automation frameworks, and ensuring reliable software delivery in an Agile environment.

About the role

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high software quality through designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, while also supporting manual testing activities where automation is not the best fit. This role is ideal for someone who sees quality as a shared team responsibility, enjoys working closely with developers, analysts, DevOps engineers, and Product Owners, and is passionate about building efficient, scalable QA processes.

Key responsibilities

Test Automation Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, integration, and regression layers Build, improve, and maintain test automation frameworks following engineering best practices Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines Analyze test execution results and report defects effectively Improve test stability, execution time, and overall reliability Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to embed quality into the delivery lifecycle Quality Assurance & Manual Testing Create test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria Execute functional and exploratory manual tests when needed Validate sprint deliverables before release Support end-to-end, UAT, and ad hoc testing activities Identify quality risks and recommend mitigation actions Agile Team Collaboration Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement sessions, reviews, and retrospectives Contribute to sprint-level QA planning and delivery readiness Help define and improve Definition of Done and Definition of Ready from a QA perspective Promote a shift-left quality mindset across the team Requirements Must-have 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering / Test Automation Strong hands-on experience with Java Practical experience with automation tools/frameworks such as: Playwright or Selenium Rest.

Assured Postman / Newman Experience with CI/CD tools such as: GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps Solid experience with Git Experience with test management tools such as Jira + Xray / Zephyr Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices Familiarity with ISTQB principles (certification is a plus) Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and commitment to quality Nice to have Experience with Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript Performance testing experience Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes Experience with cloud testing ( AWS / Azure / GCP ) Knowledge of BDD / Cucumber Experience with contract testing Familiarity with shift-left testing practices What we offer Opportunity to work on a long-term project for a globally recognized technology-driven organization Modern engineering environment with mature delivery processes Real impact on product quality and QA strategy Collaboration with experienced international teams Flexible working model Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth
