Job description

TITLE: Customs Compliance Administrator REPORTS TO: Sr. Logistics Manager MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Customs Clearance
  2. Import Manage customs clearance schedule with daily communication with forwarders, carriers, and customs broker to ensure timely declaration Ensure the respect of the customs regulation, with particular attention to the restricted items such as CITES, Wild animal Act, Plant Act, Electrical, chemical items Amend customs declaration for value change, shortage of over shipped shipment etc. Review monthly customs duties closely monitoring with customs broker and ensure proper documentation for monthly closing of expenses for submission to finance. Driven the strong curiosity of expense optimizing for reasonable cost. Organizing and planning on unexpected cargos, collaborating with event team handling various Carnet, non-commercial items.
  3. Export Preparation of shipping document (Invoice, packing list, Export license, Carnet):
  • Stock transfer to other subsidiaries
  • Return for defective and repairable items as requested by After Sales team
  • Return after event organized by Communication team Ensure the return procedure to comply with each destination customs regulation Set-up and prepare the documentation for the forwarders / local trucking and manage the corresponding monthly expense Reporting and Analysis skill to break down the customs duty and expenses
  1. Compliance Sample organization for Operating local testing by assortment samples once order confirmed Label management subject to regulation: Regular Monitoring with 3PL to comply with regulation and research the latest regulation. Research for the newly launched items subject to local regulation such as electrical, chemical and environment compliance (plastic, packaging) etc.
  2. Inventory and Pricing management Supervise the data flows between different systems, in coordination with different 3PL Control manual stock movements by verifying the supporting document prepared by other departments REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES Experience over 3 years in customs clearance Be able to commit to a 12-month temporary contract Understanding of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes. Knowledge of distribution centre and store replenishment operations. Ability to coordinate with stores, logistics providers, and internal departments. Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy. Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
