Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan Ltd is currently seeking applicants for a Foundry Quality Manager Job Location: Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan, Ltd is the headquarter of Diodes Division, one of the world's leading manufacturers of discrete semiconductors--Diodes, Rectifiers and TVS.

What you will be doing: Foundry Quality Leadership & Strategy Lead the foundry quality strategy, including definition, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics and KPIs Drive continuous improvement of foundry processes through data analysis, benchmarking, and deployment of best practices Supplier & Product Quality Management Support new product introductions, ensuring foundries are capable of meeting quality and reliability requirements Own supplier quality performance, including issue escalation, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action using 8D methodology Promote and apply continuous improvement methodologies/tools such as Lean / Six Sigma, FMEA, MSA, and Poka‑Yoke to prevent defects and improve process robustness Audit, Compliance & Quality Systems Plan and conduct foundry quality audits Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001/ VDA quality management system requirements Monitor corrective actions and verify effectiveness of quality system adherence Program & Project Management Program manage the foundry quality capability build‑up, such as related supplier process automation Plan, organize, and monitor quality‑related projects from initiation through completion Coordinate cross‑functional and supplier activities, managing timelines, risks, resources, and budgets Track program performance, resolve project issues, and maximize ROI Prepare and present regular quality and project status reports What you will bring along: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of quality experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment; automotive or foundry experience preferred, must be familiar with wafer Fab process Proven background in Supplier / Foundry Quality Assurance Quality & Continuous Improvement Expertise Strong working knowledge of 8D problem solving, Six Sigma / Lean, Kaizen, FMEA, and MSA Experience operating within IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality management systems Audit experience; ISO / IATF / VDA auditor certification is a plus Program, Business & Stakeholder Skills Solid program and project management capabilities, including risk and change management Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams Strong understanding of business processes and the commercial impact of quality decisions Leadership & Communication Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills Strong English communication skills, spoken and written (equivalent to TOEIC 700) Ability to clearly communicate technical topics, quality expectations, and project status to internal and external stakeholders Excellent organizational skills with strong follow‑through and issue‑resolution capabilities Technical & Digital Skills Proficiency with industry tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, JMP or data software analysis What can we offer you for your talent: Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
