Job description
Location: Toledo Hospital Department: Ebeid Childrens Milk Lab Weekly Hours: 16 Status: Part time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: As a Pro. Medica Milk Technician, you play a key role in meeting the nutritional needs of our youngest patients. You will prepare formula and human milk by using equipment safely, labeling and storing prepared feedings properly.
Those feedings will then be delivered to patient room refrigerators as you manage inventory and check products for accuracy and expiration . In this role, you will help train staff, show customer-centered service, and keep a daily log of quality metrics. REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma, GED, or higher education Skills: Basic math skills, st ro ng critical thinking aptitude, written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and basic computer competence. Successful passing of a math proficiency test related to milk feeding orders; ability to comprehend simple medical terminology; possess knowledge of aseptic technique Certification: Must have CPR certification upon start or date of completion of orientation.
