Job Description – Junior Backend Java Developer (2+ Years) Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Backend Java Developer with 2+ years of experience to develop and maintain scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, databases, and cloud technologies, with a willingness to learn modern software engineering practices and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.  Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.  Develop and optimize SQL queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases.  Assist in developing cloud-native applications on AWS and/or GCP.  Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.

 Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical discussions.  Troubleshoot application issues and support production environments.  Collaborate with senior developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

& Qualifications Core Java  Strong knowledge of Java (JDK 11/17+), OOP concepts, and design principles. Spring Framework  Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development. Databases  Experience with SQL and relational databases; exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable. Cloud  Basic knowledge of AWS or GCP services and cloud-native application development.

DevOps  Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform or Infrastructure as Code concepts is a plus. Engineering Practices  Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.  Knowledge of debugging, logging, unit testing, and security best practices.  Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
