Job Overview The ADAS Test Lead Engineer is a technical expert responsible for vehicle-level verification and validation (V&V) of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on Vin. Fast vehicles. The role focuses on planning and executing ADAS validation activities through real-world driving tests and proving ground campaigns.

The engineer will evaluate system performance, analyze vehicle data, investigate issues, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure ADAS functions meet vehicle requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute vehicle-level ADAS verification & validation (V&V) activities on public roads and proving grounds. Develop test strategies, test scenarios, test routes, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on vehicle requirements and ADAS specifications. Perform ADAS functional testing and subjective evaluation for features such as ACC, AEB, LKA, BSD, Parking Assist, and other driver assistance functions.

Prepare test vehicles, support instrumentation setup, and analyze vehicle data from CAN/LIN/Ethernet, GNSS/RTK, IMU, camera, radar, and lidar systems. Investigate test failures, reproduce issues, analyze logs, and support root cause analysis with System, Software, Perception, Control, and Calibration teams. Maintain test documentation, validation reports, requirement traceability, and defect tracking throughout the validation process.

Contribute to improving ADAS validation methods, test efficiency, and overall system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Hands-on experience in ADAS vehicle testing, automotive validation, or system testing, with practical experience on public roads and/or proving grounds. Strong understanding of ADAS functions, vehicle behavior, E/E architecture, and communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).

Experience with ADAS test scenarios, vehicle data analysis, and issue investigation using automotive testing tools. Familiarity with ADAS sensors (Camera, Radar, Lidar), V-model development process, and automotive V&V methodology. Knowledge of ISO 26262, SOTIF, Euro NCAP, or Homologation requirements is preferred. Good English communication skills, analytical thinking, and willingness to participate in vehicle test campaigns.
