• WFO Full Time UK Shift: 2-11 PM IST 5-6 Years of experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist with strong experience in migrating accounting data from QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). The ideal candidate will possess solid end-to-end accounting knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the migration process. This role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise, data accuracy, and strong coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute data migration from QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Review, clean, and validate accounting data before migration to ensure accuracy and completeness Map chart of accounts, customers, vendors, items, and historical transactions from QBD to QBO Perform post-migration validation, reconciliations, and issue resolution Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including: Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) General Ledger (GL) Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Ensure accurate opening balances and historical financial data in QBO Prepare and review financial statements post-migration Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and explain migration steps.

Provide user support, documentation, and basic training on QBO best practices Identify process improvements and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online migrations Solid knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes Experience with AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong understanding of chart of accounts structure and financial reporting Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience handling multiple QuickBooks migrations Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS Advanced proficiency in MS Excel Experience working in a client-facing or consulting role Experience 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience, with demonstrated QuickBooks migration exposure
