Job description
Job Title:Heavy Diesel Mechanics Industry: Automotive Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults in diesel engines, hydraulic, transmission, braking, and steering systems. Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and equipment. Repair or replace engines, gearboxes, differentials, suspension, and brake components.
Carry out electrical and electronic diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools. Read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation. Complete maintenance records and job cards accurately. Follow workplace health and safety standards. Work independently as well as within a team environment.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of recent experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics. Experience using workshop equipment and diagnostic tools. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills.
Valid driving licence preferred. Passport ready. Must be eligible for Australian skills assessment and visa requirements.
